Installed this box with the 1.25” seat lift kit. Box was of great quality I want to say first. I paired this box with the CT sounds Strato 10 sub which is a perfect match for this box. Only modifications that were needed was a little trimming on the cutout hole diameter.
The problem I have is that when the seat lift kit is put on. The seat sits so high my head rubs the roof and I’m only 6ft tall.
Seems as tho the box needs redesigned so that it’s about 1” shorter and redistribute that volume somewhere else. Then use a 1/2” solid steel spacers for the seat lift still with 1/2” longer bolts.
Okay I have to say I've tried a few different boxes. You're cheap eBay ones and whatnot. This box surpassed all my expectations! I was so impressed with the build quality of it first off. Put this thing in got the seat raisers in and I'll tell you what. This thing blows me away how loud it is. I am a very happy customer. If you're thinking about it, just do it! You will not be disappointed
Fit was good after using the seat height extensions, box sounds pretty good for prefab box and I put ct sounds woofer in and sounds nice. Need to sell with recommended speaker so it's tuned to the box. But overall happy with it.
We do sell the subs for it. Sundown, Ev4 10' You chose to just buy the sub box.
I called inquiring about the fox box for the f150 and the guy who answered the phone was very short and I could barely understand him. He clearly didn’t want to be bothered and I am wondering who even lets him answer the phone. I will not be dealing with this company again
This is the kind of review that is left when a customer can't get what he wants so he throws a tantrum.
He called asking if he could put a pair of Sundown X 8s in a underseat sub box. I informed him that it's not going to fit. Not wanting to accept this he starts asking if we could modify the box. Again I told him no. Wrong sub for the enclosure. Not wanting to accept this he then asks if we could modify the molded top cap. NO.
IT'S NOT GOING TO FIT.....NO!
I even informed him that we are a Sundown dealer and have tried that sub and it's nowhere close to being able to fit.
He then has a really cocky response and says...I really appreciate you going out of your way and providing such great customer service.
Fit was good and easy to install seat risers. Sound is very nice!!
This thing slams!!!! My wife bought this for me for an early Fathers Day gift. I wasn't planning on this so I just put in the cheap Skar SDR's that I already had for now. This thing makes even the cheapest subs sound great!! This is my 3rd Foxbox and I will always buy from them for my enclosures.
I purchased trinity sound solutions subs just going out on a whim coming from resilient sounds. That I had in a dual foxbox, I switched to the quad foxbox and pretty much only about 3 different subs would fit that box spec wise to work properly. And out of those 3 I chose to go with trinity and coming from a sound competition guru. I am beyond surprised they've taken everything I've thrown at them and haven't even tried to smell burnt or distort. I'm running them on a 270a alternator with a titan 8 lithium off of a soundigital evo6 2ohm version monoblock wired to a 2 ohm load. And all four of them are handling it!
The box is solid, the finish is great and my sub sound phenomenal in it. The sundown amp is also great, cant go wrong with them. 10/10 would recommend.
Really happy with this box: shiny black finish, 30Hz tuning. Double baffle front is important as the sub was so heavy it required 2 people to lift and mount. Matches nearly exactly to sub manufacturer’s recommended Porter enclosure specs.
This box is built really well, vert impressed with the overall quality. Had to glue the port when I received it, the seam at the corners was coming apart, easy fix. Had to also sand the liner material from the sub openings to get subs to sit easily, again, easy fix. Running ported, gets loud and rowdy. Amp rack worked perfectly, holds two amps and active line output converter.

Love the clearance it gives under the seat. Would've gave 5 stars if it didn't interfere with the seat belt, makes it kinda hard to retract the seat belts once they are pulled out. Yes I tried adjusting everything and it didn't help. It pinches between the guide and the side of the seat.
I paired it with the sundown v3 but I did have to make a minor cut since it didn’t sit flush but no biggie. It hits super good in my crewcab
