I was torn between this and a King box which was half the price with the flat deep pockets for the magnet vs rounded. I have a 2012 Crew Cab Silverado and bought this box, it doesn't fit perfect but it fits okay it sticks out quite a bit so you do have to use the wood spacers. This helps some and you will still feel the big humps when sitting on the your bench. Some sacrifice that you will have to give up for some bumps in your truck. I will eventually end up doing the seat lift to make the seat more comfortable. The overall construction of the box seems good but not as heavy as previous boxes that I've owned but hopefully it will hold up well and sound superior for the price. I will be running two DD audio 712s about a 1,000 Watts a piece. First pictures are without the spacers last 3 pictures are with spacers installed.
I’ve had 3 different sub boxes in my truck up to this point and it seems I have made the right choice finally. The extra space provided from the lift kit and the great build quality have provided a noticeable difference in sound quality and overall performance in my subs. Very impressed.
I like the box hits good sounds good but unfortunately you can feel the box through the seat when u sit down if there is a way to fix this someone please lmk but I will have to get a different box here soon
My First Box from Fox, I should have went with them in the first place ! After trying 2 other boxes that wouldn’t work w my shallow 12’s Alpine’s type R ….. Had to trim the holes just a bit but man oh man….. Fox is the sh#t !! They sounds amazing ! The Box is amazing ! Fox Acoustics is Amazing, thx so much ! Would very much recommend ❤️🙏
