I put this box in a 2020 Silverado HD Duramax. Fits great and looks good. I installed a DD Audio 600 series 12. I had to cut the hole mount a little bit for the sub to fit but thats ok. Im very happy with my purchase. Fast shipping and the packaging was good.
The box fit well and the storage fits more than the factory bin that comes in the truck. I am very pleased with it.
I buy for the 12 inch single subwoofer with the storage and this box is well done and fits perfectly hope his helps someone else hoo the sub I buy is skar audio EVL -12 D4 12" 2500 watt power dual 4ohm so to bring it down to 2ohms and sounds super clean with this box
I picked this box since it is one of the few with a storage option - larger than my current storage as well - AND the woofer box is large enough to appropriately accommodate a Skar SVR-12 D2. Skars' own under seat boxes are not large enough to hold the SVR-12. It appears to be built very well and I am excited to install it and test the sound soon.
Received the box in a 2 piece configuration and had to put it together before installing, overall finish was excellent, solid construction.
I installed it on top of the factory weather mat, technically I should have removed it but I like the all weather mats so I laid the box on top.
Because I did that, I need to shim the corners of the box, the added material from the all weather mats puts some stress in the center causing it to want to open up in the middle.
This was however my own doing and I recommend removing the weather mats if you want a perfect fit.
Box sounds great and gives me way more storage under the seats and some nice bass.
I used a CT Sounds 12’ Strato. I did have to clean up the mounting hole because it’s about .2 inches too small. I knew that going in already so not an issue for me. The dimensions listed are completely accurate. Make sure you get the dimensions of the sub you intend to use and compare it to the box of course.
