2-12's vented, 2020 Ram 2500 quad cab.

Late review, bought this in August 2024, been using just over a year now, had to reconfigure my entire system after installing this cause I didnt have enough mids or highs!

This box is amazing! I looked for the biggest sub I could fit in there and came up with these. Alpine R-Series R2-W12D4 12 Inch Dual 4-Ohm (https://a.co/d/i1D7z6j), powered by a Hifonics Zeus ZXX 1200 Watt Max Class D Monoblock (https://a.co/d/9BRJqTj) I have them running at 1 ohm and the bass is incredible.

I drive a 2500 quad cab and it just amazes anyone who gets in, or sees me drive by really. I was a bit skeptical spending so much for a box but its such a clean install and you cant tell its there unless you realize your sitting a bit higher then normal. Until it turns on anyway and your rear end is getting a great massage. The women love it! ^.-

Great quality fast shipping.

I would first like say the box is great. It fit perfectly. It however would not work for my 12w6v3s. They did fit with the spacer rings but the cf was too much for them and after hearing them i realized i like the sealed sound better. So i butchered the box to make it sealed and closer to the 1cft needed. It sounded better but the seat material flapping drove me crazy. So i pitched it and went back to the downfiring center box i had. I really wanted to add another sub but have to settle for 1. This was my trial and error. Everything was exactly as described this was my costly lesson. I did keep the molded plastic parts and the seat risers for future projects.

New design for seat lift kit?

I ordered a fox box for my truck last year and it came with wood blocks and longer bolts to lift seat. Now it comes with these steel brackets that you have to bolt down first and then put another bolt in on an angle upside down? And then you have to tighten it down with wrenches since you can’t get a socket on it because of the bracket design? I just feel like the old way with the wood blocks was so much easier to install and looked nicer. Was there an option or is this how it comes now?

The wood blocks were easier to install, but easy doesn't equal better. The steel brackets will take a few extra minutes to install but steel is better than wood when it comes to securing seats. We put the note in the instructions to install both bolts through the brackets first. If you follow the instructions it's a pretty basic installation process that should take about 30 minutes.
