I have been running this box with 2 kicker comp 4 ohms and a kicker cxa 400.1 for almost 3 years now. The construction is great and sound is good too BUT... I constantly messed with the amp adjustments trying to get the best sound. I could get it to sound really good but to get the volume I wanted would give me alot of resonate bass but to get out some of the resonance I lost punch and volume. I contemplated different speakers and or poly fill but decided It sounded good enough.
Then 2 days ago I cruised though this site again and read some reviews and read Ross M. review. He and or she was spot on and I always noticed when I rolled all my windows down my system sounded so much better so I figured they were on to something. I put in a passive radiator I order today 9/24/25 and damn that made all the difference.. I have always gone after market on all my vehicles and this system sounds perfect for me now.... punch increased the lows are pronounced and the resonance is gone.
Take there and my advice... this box is great and worth it but if your in a santa cruz get one sub and a passive radiator and its great!! I can tell you the volume and clarity as well as definition and punch are leaps and bounds above when I had 2 subs running.
I buy for the 12 inch single subwoofer with the storage and this box is well done and fits perfectly hope his helps someone else hoo the sub I buy is skar audio EVL -12 D4 12" 2500 watt power dual 4ohm so to bring it down to 2ohms and sounds super clean with this box
Comes with everything needed! Not cheap wiring. Worked perfectly!
This is a great seat lift kit. Comes with everything needed to install. Looks great, fits great and very sturdy. I installed by myself in about 1.5 hours. You could probably install it in less than an hour with 2 people. Fox Acoustics does it again! Great company and great products!
