I bought this for my 02’ and installed the nvx vcw subs. Had to do a little trimming but was not hard. This box hits way better than i would of ever guessed. This box bangs .
Great box sounded amazing with 3 kicker cvr 10s. The only issue we had was the metal logo on the front that says super duty made a lot of noise but one we put 3m foam tape on it noise went away. Will always keep fox acoustics in mind when looking for enclosure.
The box is nice . It had to be modified to use the speakers that fox acoustic recommended for the box and instructions are very poor . Expected plug and play with video instructions for that amount of money. Also connection point for wires needs to be upgraded.
Sorry that you had a difficult time doing your install. DIY is not for everyone. The instructions are straight forward and they are on the listing along with other pictures. Trimming the hole for a sub with a cast frame is typical installation practice. There are 3 terminal cups that can handle 2000w each so they are more than adequate.
The box fit great but its only 1/2" mdf and it does flex when turned up. Right now I have three sundown 10's on a jp23. When I upgrade the amp I will have to remove the box to add more bracing and change out the cheap terminals. On another note I was missing two bolts for the seat lift and it didn't come with any directions. For $700 i was expecting alot more
