Well made product just not the one i needed for my application even though it was recommended by the manufacturer for the enclosure rhey sell. The issue is the seat hits the top of the box with this particular product where the other one that is 2.5" would prevent this from being an issue.
The 1.25" is the correct lift for the standard Ram enclosure. The sub box tuning is designed to work with the seat sealing around on the top of the box providing aperiodic loading of the sub. By leaving a space between the top and seat proper loading does not occur and the tuning of the enclosure ends up being higher. That's why you get deeper bass with the seat down.
Super easy to install. Instructions were clear and simple. Took me less than an hour. I found that if I put a nut on the top bolt to hold it before tightening the bottom bolt it was much easier to tighten the bottom bolt the remove the nut from the top bolts before placing the seat back and fastening the top bolts
This is a great seat lift kit. Comes with everything needed to install. Looks great, fits great and very sturdy. I installed by myself in about 1.5 hours. You could probably install it in less than an hour with 2 people. Fox Acoustics does it again! Great company and great products!
They work great and were not that hard to install. It’s definitely easier with 2 people, quality feels good
I wasn't able to get the bolts in the slot. I called the manufacturer for help. I was told that they will send me a video showing me how to do it. The video was never sent.
