I did a lot of research in regards to an underseat box and it always came back to this set up. Fitment was perfect once you pair the halves together. Sound is great, but doesn't hit the lows due to lack of cubic feet (To be expected from an under seat set up). I am running 2 SA 12v2's off of a SAE2000, 1/0 wiring, dual MM370a alternators, dual auxiliary batteries, stock head unit, Pac LOC, Epicenter, isolator, SAE400.4 on 4 door coax 6x9s. Will be adding a DSP and dropping the ohms on the subs from 4 to 2 for more power, but for right now, its not bad. As your sub box goes, so does your system. I would definitely recommend this setup to give you some decent bass and save space. The only cons I have found is: #1 some of the paint does peel off in the thinner areas like inside the box or on the mounting perch, but you won't notice it once the subs are installed. #2 is the front Ram metal piece is only secured around the edges, so the middle of it rattles. It's just enough to annoy you. I even painted mine black before I mounted it but still. #3 I wish they offered all the metal trim pieces in the same color and texture as they use on the box. I think it would be appreciated by the customer like myself that want the incognito look. All in all, I would rate this box 4.8/5.0 and IMO is the best box on the market for an underseat set up in a 5th gen Ram 2500/3500 crew cab.

Ive had the original FoxBox for a little over a year, and it sounded great! Still i felt like I wanted more! I didnt even know that the Elite model was a thing until a couple months back. I knew then, and upgrade was in order! This box hits the lows that I was so desperately missing! Im pushing this box HARD with a Crossfire C7 4K, and 2 Resilient 12's! This thing SLAMS! I finally got the sound that I wanted out of my truck!
If you are skeptical about buying this box because of the price...dont be. Its so worth it. I can't even nitpick the seat sitting up a tad higher. The build quality, and sound more than makes up for the slight change in undersear fitment. If yall somehow make another model better than this one, I'll purchase that one as well! This is my 3rd purchase from Fox. Previously ran the normal Ram Crew cab dual 12 ported box with Sundown SA Classics. Even though these boxes sound leaps and bounds better than the competition, I was still not satisfied. I pulled the trigger for the Elite box and moved up to the Sundown SA v3. I can now say with confidence, the elite box is worth it. Without changing gains on my amp which I am now under powering the new subs by 1k, the bigger box makes a huge difference. Lows are louder, dig lower, the mid spectrum is just way louder and cleaner, and just over all produces and cleaner louder sound. I’ll give it a week or two before I crank up the power but wanted to get a fair judgement on the differences at the same power level. As stated before, the Elite box has meet my expectations.
Now for a few small critiques. The box came in 2 fully assembled pieces, awesome but was not expecting that. There were no instruction other than the seat bracket install. No problem use common sense with what you have. The top was recessed for a plate to join the 2 but not the bottom. I tried may attempts but could not get the 2 pieces perfectly lined up, so I settled for the back side to be off, can’t see it anyway. I did put some black silicone between the 2 pieces to prevent vibrations. Now on to the Ram logo on the top. As much as I love the design, I did have to put black silicone under this as it rattled against the mount plate screws that was audible, easy enough fix though.
All in all, I would buy again 10 times over any other competition out there. Just can’t beat the R&D and finish the folks at Fox Acoustics continuously puts out through out.
Do not think to hard on this box if you are looking for that little extra. Well worth the cost.
