I ordered this box fully expecting it to take the 1-2 weeks for delivery that is stated in the description. To my surprise it arrived three days later. I was also under the assumption that I'd have to attach the tub to the top of the enclosure, but it came fully assembled and ready to go. The 10" adapter ring works perfectly and came with plenty of screws to mount it to the box. The seat lift kit was easy to install. Solid box. I highly recommend it for Ram owners. My only regret is not going with the ported version.

I was very happy with the design and build quality. I will say i am not using the box. I bought this box to try with my 12w6v3 and even with 2 inch seat lift using the ring spacer to give it enough depth to fit the speaker still hit bottom of the seat. With the grill sitting in the seat i could feel the grill push down. I also think the volume of the air space was too small. I then tried my 10tw3 and the box was too much air space. I know i could have added filler but decided to put the 12 back in my box. It may be just that i prefer the down firing sound. If you want a great quality built box shipped fast this is it.
I like that this box needed very minimal modifications to my truck just raise the seat bracket and you are clear to put this box in. I have an Infinity reference 1070 and a 1000watt amp with a stinger wiring kit and it sounds fantastic! Doesn’t rattle the truck and definitely doesn’t disturb others when you’re listening to your music.
You will not find a better fitting subwoofer box that can be purchased off the shelf. I purchased this box with the 10” adapter ring and it did not disappoint. In case I want to upgrade later, I will have that option to go with a 12” subwoofer. The team over at FA really highlighted their knowledge, skill, and ability in designing and engineering an amazing box. It’s classy, sleek, and built very well, even down to the applied protective coating and upgraded terminals. It just looks great. For the sound, I am very pleased.
This sub box with my subwoofer is the perfect “vibing”relationship. The specs accommodate my subwoofer specs nicely, really making the bass play and sound as intended for my various genres of music. The sound can be subtle, but hit hard when you need it to producing clear, clean, tight bass tones. Use the included lift kit spacers. The shop I went to appears that they only installed two of the four spacers. It’s on my list to have the other two installed. This should level out the seat better.
When I placed my order, the customer support I received was excellent. The lady I spoke to was courteous, patient, helpful and really just gave me great professional customer service. I am grateful and appreciate that. If I may respectfully provide a recommendation…an option for the passenger side. I could have missed it when ordering. I think some customers, as myself would prefer having accessible storage on the driver side rather than passenger side. All in all this is the first box I’ve ever owned that was worth the purchase. This is the closest thing to an “exact to spec and matched subwoofer customer fabricated box”. If Fox Acoustics offered that type of service, I would surely purchase another box, no question!
